Liquefaction Results
The following liquefaction results are calculated in Settle3:
Data
- Corrected Input Data
- Stress Reduction Coefficient
Relative Density (%)
Triggering
- CSR and CRR
- Factor of Safety
- Probability of Liquefaction (%)
Post-Triggering (SPT input data only)
- Max Shear Strain (%)
- Lateral Displacement Index
- Settlement
The results are presented in three pages of graphs: Data, Triggering, and Post-Triggering.
Liquefaction Results Viewing Options
The basic viewing options are covered in the Graph Tools topic. The options discussed in this section apply only to liquefaction graphs.
When you click on the Triggering Series tab of the Liquefaction window, the Triggering Series section of the Chart Controls will appear. In the Triggering Series section you can modify the following values:
- Factor of Safety - this is the location of the vertical FS line on the Factor of Safety graph.
- Factor of Safety Threshold - controls the width of the Factor of Safety Band.
- Probability of Liquefaction Upper Limit - controls the width of the Probability of Liquefaction band.
- Probability of Liquefaction Lower Limit - controls the width of the Probability of Liquefaction band.
The Factor of Safety Band and Probability of Liquefaction Band are displayed in yellow on the Factor of Safety and Probability of Liquefaction graphs, respectively.
The other options are all checkboxes that allow you to turn on/off different calculation methods.
Post-Triggering Results
When you click on the Post Triggering tab of the Liquefaction window, the Post Liquefaction Series of the Chart Controls will appear. Here you can change the Method to Calculate Post Liquefaction Parameters.
In the Post Liquefaction Series section of the View Controls the checkboxes for Lateral Displacement Method and Settlement Methods are also shown. Use these to control which methods are shown on the graphs.
