Import Point Cloud Data

Rocscience has partnered with IDS GeoRadar to integrate deformation monitoring data from IDS slope monitoring radars into slope stability numerical models in Slide3. Slide3 enables the overlay of radar maps onto model results using geo-reference data imported from IDS GeoRadar interferometric radars capable of capturing deformations over the entire slope every minute with the newest ArcSAR technology.

IDS Radar data can be overlaid on a model through the results tab.

1. Save your model and select compute
2. Select Interpret > Import IDS Radar Data
3. Select the data set of interest and click OK to import
4. The IDS Radar data will now be visible alongside Slide3 results in the modelling interface

Import Groundprobe data

Slide3 can also import Groundprobe data (*.dat). Simply Select Interpret > Import Groundprobe data to import *.dat extension file to your Silde3 model. The procedure for importing Groundprobe data is similar to importing IDS Radar data. Follow the tutorial mentioned above for more details.
