Why is Automation Useful?
Automation from Excel gives the user the freedom and efficiency to pre-process and compute millions of wedges using SWedge's compute engine and generate results for custom post-processing for raw data. Pre-processing of input data can be done directly in Excel or imported to Excel. Users have the freedom to run a large number of Deterministic, Probabilistic, or Combinations analyses using varied inputs. Post-processing of output data can be done directly in Excel or read into other formats for graphing and much more.
Deterministic Analysis
- Compute several unique Deterministic wedges
- Perform sensitivity analysis on any input parameter using Deterministic wedges
- Vary more than one parameter at a time (e.g., strength parameters on Joint 1, Joint 2, and Basal Failure Plane can be varied simultaneously)
- Perform a Probabilistic analysis on any input parameter using Deterministic wedges
- Generate random variables using your own sampling method
Probabilistic Analysis
- Compute several unique sample sets of Probabilistic wedges
- Perform dynamic bench analysis using Probabilistic wedges
- Vary the Slope Dip (i.e., Bench Face Angle) by some incremental value and range
Combinations Analysis
- Compute several unique joint combination sets of Combinations wedges
- Perform sensitivity analysis on any input parameter using Combinations wedges
