Input Data

The Input Data option is the main input data dialog for SWedge, and is available in:

  • the toolbar
  • the Analysis menu
  • right-click menu (on the Wedge View)

The Input Data dialog will be configured according to the Analysis Type - Deterministic, Probabilistic or Combinations.

  • For a Deterministic or Combinations analysis, the Input Data dialog will present 4 tabs for entering input data: Slope, Joints, Forces, Water.
  • For a Probabilistic Analysis, the Input Data dialog will display the following tabs for entering input data: Slope, Upper Face, Joint1, Strength1, Joint2, Strength2, Tension Crack, Ponded Water, Joint Water, Seismic, Forces.
  • If you are using the Basal Joint option additional tabs will be available for entering the basal joint properties
