Export Dataset
The Export Dataset option allows the user to export raw data from a Probabilistic Analysis to Excel.
To access the Export Dataset option:
- Ensure that the Analysis Type = Probabilistic in the Project Settings.
- At least one Random Variable is defined.
- The model has been computed.
- Select Export Dataset from the Statistics menu.
Data
All available data from the analysis is initially selected for export. If you do NOT wish to export a given dataset, clear the corresponding checkbox before exporting. If a dataset is grayed out, this means that no statistical distribution was defined for the dataset. See the Data Type topic for more information about Probabilistic Analysis data.
Joint Combinations
If Compute All Joint Combinations is checked in Input Data dialog, you will have the option to export Joint Combinations which contains the following for each sample:
- Combination (three joints in the sampled combination)
- Subsample (this corresponds to the Sample number for any Joint Orientations or Joint Properties Random Variable sampled)
- Dip (for each of the three joints in the sampled combination)
- Dip Direction (for each of the three joints in the sampled combination)
- Material Property (for each of the three joints in the sampled combination)
Excel
Export the data to Microsoft Excel or save as Text File format. If you have the Excel program on your computer, Excel will automatically be launched, and the exported data will appear in a new Excel document.
