Overview of Automation in UnWedge

Automation features in UnWedge provide the advanced user with a quick and efficient way of computing several Deterministic Analysis, or Probabilistic Analysis cases.

Two automation options exist:

Batch Compute

Use Batch Compute if you are looking to compute several already saved UnWedge models and generate results for each model. This feature reduces the manual work involved in opening each UnWedge file individually and exporting the computed results for each file.

Automate from Excel

Use Automate from Excel, if you are looking to compute several UnWedge models of the same Analysis Type (i.e., Deterministic, Probabilistic), but varying input data values. This feature reduces the manual work involved in changing parameters in the Input Data dialog, Field Stress dialog, and Scale Wedge dialog, and exporting the computed results for each case.
