Probabilistic Field Stress
Variability can be added to the field stress properties as follows:
- Select Statistics > Field Stress
- Click the Add
button and select one of the properties:- Sigma 1 Magnitude
- Sigma 2 Magnitude
- Sigma 3 Magnitude
- Young's Modulus
- Poisson Ratio
- You can then assign a distribution type, mean, standard deviation, relative minimum, and relative maximum, for the variable.
In order to define any Field Stress parameters as a random variable in the Field Stress Statistics dialog, you must first check the Use Stresses in Analysis checkbox in the Field Stress dialog.
