End Wedge Computation

The computation of End Wedges may be turned on or off by selecting the Compute End Wedges checkbox in the General tab of the Project Settings dialog. If your UnWedge model does not require the analysis of End Wedges, you can clear this checkbox. By default, the checkbox is turned on.

  • If the checkbox is cleared, only the Perimeter Wedges will be computed by UnWedge.
  • If the checkbox is selected, UnWedge will compute both Perimeter Wedges and End Wedges.

If Compute End Wedges is turned off, you may find that this speeds up certain computations in UnWedge. For example, if you are using the Tunnel Axis Plot option, the plot generation may be noticeably faster if Compute End Wedges is turned off.
