Multi-Perspective View
The Multi-Perspective view displays all of the wedges calculated by UnWedge, each in its own individual perspective view.
- A maximum of 8 perspective views can be displayed in the Multi-Perspective view. This is because a maximum of 6 Perimeter Wedges and 2 End Wedges can be calculated for any model.
- If less than 6 Perimeter Wedges are determined by UnWedge, and/or if End Wedges are not being calculated, then some of the panes within the Multi-Perspective view will be blank. For example, you may only see between 2 and 7 wedges in the Multi-Perspective view.
- Orthogonal views (Top/Front/Side) are not provided in the Multi-Perspective view. For orthogonal views use the 3D Wedge View.
You can access the Multi-Perspective view at any time by:
- Selecting the Multi-Perspective view from the drop-down menu on the toolbar
- Selecting Multi-Perspective from the Select View sub-menu of the View menu.
Viewing and Display Options
The viewing and display options for the Multi-Perspective view are essentially the same as the options for the 3D Wedge View (e.g., rotating the model, moving the wedges, resizing the views, etc.) For a description of the many different viewing and display options which are available, see the links in the 3D Wedge View topic.
TIP: Remember that you can quickly maximize any individual pane within the Multi-Perspective view, by double-clicking in the pane. To restore the default view, double-click in the maximized pane, and all views will again be visible.
Wedge Information Display
A feature of the Multi-Perspective view is that the wedge information for each individual wedge is displayed in the view with each wedge. This includes wedge name and number, Factor of Safety, and any other wedge information you wish to display. The display of wedge information is configured with the Wedge Information Filter dialog.
