Barrier Report Output
The following sections are included in the Barrier Report:
- Barrier Entity Properties
- Design Block Size (with ONR 24810 only)
- Impact Statistics
- Barrier Definition
- Verification
Barrier Entity Properties
At the top of the report the basic barrier properties are summarized:
- Name
- Capacity
- Manufacturer
- Hits
- Height
Design Block Size (ONR 24810 only)
Input and generated rock block data is listed in this section. The following is provided:
- Design block percentile (user input)
- 97 percentile volume (V97)
- Qualifying rocks
Impact Statistics
The following statistics are reported for Impact Height, Translational Velocity, and Translational Energy:
- 95th Percentile (or percentile specified in the Report input. Omitted for non-factored method.)
- Mean
- Minimum
- Maximum
Barrier Design
Manufacturer data (if applicable) is listed in this section. The following data is provided:
- Name
- Manufacturer
- Certification
- Rated Capacity
- Min Height
- Max Height
It will also be noted if the modelled barrier height is larger than the barrier design maximum height.
Under the Tested Values heading, the Capacity, Elongation, and Residual Height are reported for each energy level (MEL and SEL).
Verification
In the Verification section, the energy, height, and elongation values are checked against their respective maximum values. If the maximum values are not exceeded, it will be indicated that the design is "Valid" and the calculated value will be shaded green. If a maximum value is exceeded, the calculated value will be shaded red and "Invalid" will be written beside it.
In this section, the following is also summarized:
- Design Parameters ( UNI 11211 and non-factored)
- Barrier Parameters
- Input Parameters
- Model Output
- Safety Coefficients
- Design Parameters
- Verification
- Residual Height ( UNI 11211 and non-factored)
Exporting the Report
The barrier design report can be exported to an external browser as an html file or be added to the report generator output by selecting Edit > Add to Report or from the menu Add to Report.
