Drawing Tools Overview

The options in the Tools menu allow you to add a variety of drawing objects to views, to customize the appearance of views for screen captures and reports, etc. The Drawing Tools are also available from the toolbar.

The following Drawing Tools are available:

• Text Box
• Property Tables
• Line
• Arrow
• Measure
• Pencil
• Polyline
• Polygon
• Rectangle
• Circle
• Image
• Axes
• Dimension Tools

All objects added to a view with the Tools menu options are referred to as Drawing Tools in the RocFall documentation.

After adding Drawing Tools to a view, the following topics may be useful:

Note that all Drawing Tools are added on a per view basis, so if multiple views are open, each individual view can be customized as desired.

Toolbar Preferences

• To hide or display the Tools toolbar, select Show Tools Toolbar in the Tools menu.
• Select File > Preferences to customize the toolbar. Select Abbreviated drawing tools toolbar to show a limited tools toolbar.
