Arrow
The Arrow option allows you to add an arrow between any two points on a view.
To add an Arrow:
- Select Arrow from the Tools menu, or from the toolbar.
- Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line. (Snapping may be useful here). Note that this is (initially) the end that the head of the arrow is located.
- As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location.
- Enter the second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Arrow will be added to the view.
Tips:
- Double-click on the Arrow to bring up the Format Tool dialog. In this dialog you can edit the Arrow appearance, and edit the coordinates of the two ends.
- In the Format Tool dialog, you can change the location of the Arrow head. Select Arrow at Head or Arrow at Tail.
- Right-click on the Arrow to change the appearance of the Arrow in the view (i.e. Bring to Front, Send to Back, etc.). You can also edit the coordinates.
