Line

The Line option allows you to add a line between any two points on a view.

To add a Line:

1. Select Line from the Tools menu, or from the toolbar.
2. Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line.(Snapping may be useful here).
3. As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location.
4. Enter the second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Line will be added to the view.

Tips:

• Double-click on the Line to bring up the Format Tool dialog. In this dialog you can edit the Line appearance, and edit the coordinates of the two ends.
• Right-click on the Line to change the appearance of the Line in the view (i.e. Bring to Front, Send to Back, etc.). You can also edit the coordinates.
