Copying to the Clipboard

The Copy option in the Edit menu or the toolbar allows you to copy the contents of the active view to the Windows Clipboard. The Clipboard contents can then be pasted into word-processing or graphics programs.

Notes:

• The active view is the one with the lighter coloured title bar
• The entire window is not copied. Only the contents of the window (including the rulers on the left side and on the bottom) are copied.
• In order to capture the entire window, you will need to use a different screen-capture method.
• Pressing ALT + PRINT Screen will capture the application window only. This is particularly useful if the program window is not maximized on your desktop.
