Barrier and Collector Graphs Overview
Barrier and Collector Graphs and Berm Graphs are graphs that are associated with a particular barrier, berm, or collector. Each barrier, berm, and data collector can have one of each of the following graphs:
- Total Kinetic Energy
- Translational Kinetic Energy
- Rotational Kinetic Energy
- Translational Velocity
- Rotational Velocity
- Impact Locations Over Length (barrier only)
- Horizontal Impact Locations (collector only)
- Vertical Impact Locations (collector only)
- Impact Angle (Barrier and Berm)
- Absorbed Energy (for non-infinite capacity berms only)
- Vertical Impact Heights (berms only)
Tips:
- You can right-click on the barrier/berm/collector and select Graph Barrier Data , Graph Berm , or Graph Collector Data from the popup menu, and the Graph Barriers and Collectors dialog or Graph Berm dialog will appear.
- The Sampler is used to indicate where on the graph a specific cumulative frequency is reached. The initial Sampler location is specified in the Graph dialog.
- You can edit the location of the Sampler in the graph window by right clicking anywhere on the graph and selecting Sampler > Edit Sampler from the popup menu.
- You can hide the Sampler by right-clicking anywhere on the graph and selecting Sampler > Show Sampler when the Sampler is displayed. Doing this when the Sampler is hidden, makes the Sampler visible.
