Multi-Section Files
Slope sections created and exported from RocFall3 can be analyzed as a group in RocFall2. The 2D sections exported in this manner are organized in the same folder and open in RocFall2 after exporting from RocFall3. These files can be computed individually or as a group using the Batch Compute tool.
Group Plots - Graph Endpoints
A group plot displays the results for all sections or selected sections that were exported from RocFall3.
Under Group Plots, the Graph Endpoints feature allows you to plot the runout distances for all or select sections . The distribution of runout distances can be displayed in terms of the number of rocks or a percentage of the total. In addition, you can plot the total runout distance or the runout distance with respect to any reference line that is defined in the sections.
Reference Lines
Reference lines created in RocFall3 can be exported to RocFall2. A reference line is used to interpret rock runout distances. If the same reference line is defined for multiple sections, then the user can create group plots of runout distance with respect to the reference line.
Batch Compute
Once all sections have been imported into RocFall2, you can choose to compute all sections at once or select specific sections to compute. To compute all sections at once, select Batch Compute. Should you only want to compute the section currently open, select Compute.
