Friction Angle

If you are using the Lumped Mass analysis method, there are three possible options for defining the Friction Angle for slope materials, according to the setting chosen in Project Settings > General > Analysis Method > Friction Angle:

1. Set in Material Editor
2. Calculate from Rt
3. Set to zero (rolling)

If the first option is chosen, you enter the Friction Angle directly in the Slope Material Library dialog. If the second or third options are chosen, the Friction Angle option in the Slope Material Library dialog will be disabled, and the friction angle is automatically calculated from Rt or set to zero.
