All Surfaces

The All Surfaces option is used to view ALL valid slip surfaces generated by analysis. This applies to both circular and non-circular analysis.

The display of All Surfaces can be toggled ON or OFF by selecting All Surfaces Surfaces Icon from the toolbar or the Data menu.

  • The colours of the All Surfaces correspond to the safety factor colours in the Legend.
  • Since the slip surfaces will overlap when displaying All Surfaces, Slide2 draws the slip surfaces starting with the HIGHEST safety factors, and ending with the LOWEST safety factors, so that the slip surfaces with the lowest safety factors are always visible (i.e. they are drawn last)
  • The Filter Surfaces option can be used to filter the display of All Surfaces (e.g. only surfaces with a safety factor less than some specified value). See the Filter Surfaces topic for details.
